I also agree that our management did an amazing job keeping the ship running straight and true without furloughs. It’s a very good company.... and anybody that knows me, knows I don’t praise airline managements often.

Not a class date, but wanted to know if I was still interested and available. Disappointed in some ways. I am excited about where I am going now, and think it will potentially be a pretty good opportunity. But I know a few guys over at Omni, and they enjoy it, and I have spent over a year hoping for the call. Like I said, if the call had come three weeks earlier, I would have said yes and been overjoyed.

They are updating their applications and those in the pool to verify they’re still interested. I predicted they’d be hiring by late Fall. It looks like it may be earlier. We’ve been getting unlimited overtime for two months now and emails asking guys to volunteer for more.
it’s a great job, an awesome pilot group, and a very very good management team. Does it have issues, sure... all airlines do; but by and large this is a great place to work.

Oh wow, very cool and best of luck on your new direction! I was basically in the same boat as you. I interviewed early 2019 but they were backed up on class dates. By the time they were ready for me, my family was experiencing medical issues and I had to put immediate changes on hold. I’ve been trying to get back into the queue but unsuccessful so far. Anyways, sounds like congrats are in order!

Former mil RW /121 regional CA here, applied today. 6k total, 2k 121, 1K 121 PIC, is that even competitive for Omni given all the wide body expats coming back and the current Pilot talent pool out there at the moment? Thx
