swaps are possible per CBA but it’s rare. Mostly due to most schedules being just reserve days that get filled in just a few days in advance. You could swap days and just take whatever ends up scheduled on those days. Once they drop stuff on the schedule it becomes more complicated because airline tickets would need to be changed too and they often aren’t exchangeable.
They also aren’t likely to swap mid duty block stuff if you need travel. You’d probably have to jumpseat in that case. They’ll gateway you from/to home at the beginning and end of your duty block of days.
swapping entire lines is more likely, but again, rare.
helps to keep a copy of the bidpack and the awards to see who has which schedule.
it’s a great company. Not the typical 121.

It's hard to tell anymore because really, anyone can choose to jump ship to the majors given the opportunity. The 55 plus age group is perhaps less likely, although some legacy carriers have hired older applicants too.

Perhaps a mentality to slow the revolving door. Now, if you have no four year college degree, or have several DUIs and check ride failures, that could improve the odds of staying put.

Omni does not have the reputation of a company where people go because they can't get hired elsewhere, and their employees do, by and large, tend to express satisfaction with their job.
They are not a 36th street operator.

Ha. I’m sure this is facetious.
Most here have college degrees and are serious about being professional aviators. And if you’re a weak pilot you won’t make it through training or you will eventually wash out. If that doesn’t happen you’ll be stuck as an FO and probably relegated to RO duties most the time. And although the past has had its moments the current culture here does not encourage drinking or partying.
There’s a million reasons someone isn’t a good fit for Omni or this type of flying. Having the times in the logbook is a fraction of being qualified and right for the job.
