Yes, poorly worded, sorry. It is on schedule to be certified around mid-month if all goes well.

I may occasionally joke, as we all do, but I agree with Cujo (and everyone I've ever heard express an opinion who *currently* works here) that this is a danged good gig. I don't for a second imagine that happy pilots is the *first* priority of any airline management group (nor should it be), but it is my sincere impression that Omni management has a basically "we're in this together" attitude, and that goes a long way with me. It remains to be seen whether the, uhm, "more adversarial" relationship one sees at other ATSG companies will filter down. I don't see any big signs of that yet, and I look forward to the vaccine and what I hope will be greater opportunities for the company, and the attendant increase in hiring.
Just jumping in here, but did you happen to get any perspective on possible hiring? I know we may not get a lot of information for awhile but I have some life decisions that need to be made soon and some of them will be easier to make if I know I have a potential shot at Omni within a year or less.

Appreciate all you guys coming in here and talking about Omni, sounds like an awesome gig!

Last I was told they may begin running classes in early Spring. I'm not sure how true that is but that was the last update I was given.

Awesome thank you! I hope everything keeps recovering. And I won’t bank on anything but we have a move coming up either sooner or later depending on potential timetable so possibly being less than a year helps make that decision.

Sorry, they pulled me off that trip, and I forgot to follow up here. No news from me, so let's hope Thatflyguy's intel is correct!

I was curious though, is the 76 that experienced the gear collapse back in service?

Haven't seen it or heard anything official but I would guess it is. Evidently the damage was not all that serious, which I wouldn't have guessed by looking at the pictures.

Even the Atlas 767 that crashed--sorry, "hard landing"--in Portsmouth is flying again after the crinkled fuselage.

it’s been back flying a while now.

They say no hiring for the next year. Not what people want to hear, but it was what was said this past week.
My personal opinion is we will be hiring again in the fall if not sooner.
Things can change fast, but right now they have no plans for it.
