What do you think about someone that starts class at the end of February, on upgrade? I already have 1000/121 SIC. The recruiter I spoke to said, there are about 100 FO's that will not have the time for upgrade when their number is up. Plus if you upgrade ahead of someone senior to you, do you get downgraded when they get their time?
I know it's just speculation on all of it, but would love to hear all the opinions.

However, as the need for more captains comes, and people senior to you are able to upgrade, they will take there rightful place on the "captain seniority list."

Hopefully someone can help me out with a Compass question or two. I've been out of flying since leaving TSA in 2006. I'd like to get back "in" and I live in MSP, so naturally I was thinking Compass. I have about 3500tt, 1300 ME PIC, and 1000 121 SIC. However as stated above, haven't flown since 2006. Currently only have Associates Degree.
Do you think I would I get a call from Compass?
If not, would it be due to recency or degree, or both?
It looks like from reading previous posts, if I did get on, I'd probably be in LAX for a fair amount of time before getting back to MSP. How's that commute going for the guys that are currently having to do it?

Anyone know if Compass will hire or possibly offer an interview to an applicant without ATP written? I ask because some airlines offer CTP course and some puts applicants in the pool until company gets their CTP course approved by FAA.
