There is one thing we agree on. We are absolutely on the hook for a $600 Ipad and $100 worth of accessories. It is not nearly as durable or easy to replace as the Jepp charts. There is no argument from me on that.
Where we differ is what that means. To me, voluntarily spending $20 to protect the ipad from accidental damage and consequently myself is reasonable. I see that as very much in line with what we have all done in the past with chart cases to transport and protect our jepps. It is my choice, mostly driven by the fact that I drop my phone about 5 times a day, and I don't think the Ipad will survive that. You, on the other hand see that choice as me being a "RJ pilot with no backbone" and pretty much destroying the entire industry, all over a $20 ipad case. We will just have to agree to disagree on this one.

Tell them you're willing to take any immediate opening on short notice. With the amount training monthly, pilots will be dropping out. Seniority is everything.

Interviewing in a couple of weeks. Corporate Tprop PIC/light jet SIC guy. Also current CFI/CFII/MEI.
What plates are being used during the interview? Still jepps? or that other kind, (cant think of the name) not NOS?
Iv always used NOS (foreflight junkie). So ill need to study up the right kind if not NOS.
Also, how in depth is the written and or Interview for technical questions? Im pretty current on the ATP written since I just took it in July. Teach primary and instrument pretty regularly. But have been studying weather and aerodynamics as well, all over again to be confident and proficient.
This is my first airline interview, and so Im a little nervous I am either over prepping, or possibly under prepping for it as I understand Compass has one of the most thorough interview process. Any specific recommendations?
Thanks!

This has been covered before but all the gouges are current and are spot on. If you google Delta Knowledge Test you'll be able to find questions that will give you an idea of what to expect. Approach charts didn't come up during the interview.

This. My class date moved up 3 weeks from the date they originally gave me. Could have been a full month earlier but somebody beat me to the punch on the last round.

Its not the ATP test bank, stick with the gouges. Also, you won't do any knowledge testing outside of the computer test, its just HR questions. Don't worry about chart knowledge, nothing tests it. Right now Compass is transitioning from paper Jepps to iPads with Lido charts by Lufthansa.
Haha, like I said "one of the most". Thanks for the info!
