Like lower than pretty much everywhere? Same for per diem.

Don't believe everything you see on APC. The compensation was amended with the new (non concessionary) contract. You should also look into how much your medical would cost at other places etc.
The per diem raises 3 times throughout the life of our cba to $1.90 by the time it expires.
As for year 1 FO rates, that's a concession to let one small group get a 50% raise while everybody else gets QOL only. It's management trying to cheaply attract new hire pilots. So is a bonus for that matter. Compensation should be raised unilaterally - this in term will create a generous compensation package that will attract pilots. It also costs more money than any regional wants to pay. Skywest= no Union. It's why year 1 FO is so high. It's also why the E175 is paid less than the CRJ-900 LMAO
As for pay rates, a good comparison would be Skywest year 4 FO to Compass year 4 CA. Or try Endeavor year 7 FO to Compass year 7 CA (even throw their bonus in and see who's making out better... Hint it's not the FO).

Quick question: Thinking about bidding for MSP around December. Roughly how many lines were in the last bid? Flica was showing me around 12 from the bottom, you think that could be good enough for a line?

Didn't Compass just offer $10k signing bonuses? Where was ALPA on that one? Ive read both deals and unions have nothing to do with it. skyWest is just flat out better in every category, and with the quick upgrade gone at compass why would any newhire want to go there??

I'm serious. As a new 121 canidate there's no reason to go to compass. I would be concerned with this if I worked there.

With the exception of some of the worst paid regionals, there really isn't a bad place to be right now. Have fun chucking gear at Skywest, though.
