However they advertise double occupancy but a lot of us got our own rooms. My class and the two classes after got their own rooms. So it just depends if you get lucky only single rooms were left when I got there. The hotel is very very nice you even have a kitchen to cook if you desire and they take you to target or walmart to shop if you want to get supplies. I was impressed with the accommodation!

MSP is the most senior base. Hardest to get but Im guessing in a few months you should be able to get it. Cant give you an exact time because its dependent on alot of variables
How long ago was that you were in class?
How many in your class?

Thanks

A year ago I had orientation mid December, started training in January and finished IOE the end of March.

I think MSP is CA senior and SEA is FO senior. Why? Because people are getting MSP quicker than SEA.

I'm at the start of sims now I had about a week off on two different occasions. Yeah two weeks of CBTs. One week of GOS just talking about the FOM and company rules.. Then a week of of Systems review where u learn about the FMS. Followed by a about week of SITs(System Integration Training) then you do your Systems Validation (Oral Check). After that I had FPTs(Flight Procedures Training) for a week then right after a PV (Procedures Validation) if you pass that then you go for Sim training. But I had breaks in between hence I'm at sims

As others have said, "Everything Explained..." will get you far if not all the way. Skip all the regs, focus on technical subjects. If needed, add "Turbine Pilot's Flight Manual". Many gauges online, I found them helpful.

So republic kinda took over the thread! Let's see if we can get it back on topic.
ATP CTP is CAE Dallas. I found it to be surprisingly fun and useful. It's taught by retired 121 and corporate guys with lots of cool stories to tell. 4 days of ground, easy written, then 3 days of sims. In my class we had GIII, Challenger 601, and Falcon 50EX. I got the Falcon - where else would I get a chance to fly a three-holer!

One thing to keep in mind is that the course DOES NOT prepare you for the actual ATP written, that's on you.

To prep for your ATP written do Sheppard Air Flight Test 5.0 Prep Software ATP, Flight Engineer, Mil Comp - FAA Airline Transport Pilot EXACTLY as they instruct you to do it.

Could any of you give a crash course on reserve on the thread or a PM. Such as when looking at Flica what the silos mean again? Also what are the times for RSV1-3
