Just got some crazy 7 day reserve trip that's pieced together from ATL, SLC and SEA trips.

Lots of green slips flying on NYC 7ERB

The extend is not your friend.

Zero upside, lots of potential downside.

Makes sense to do that, seeing as how we can pretty much throw EDCTs out the window if we operate under VFR.
Perfect for the go home leg!!!

You do you can fly IFR in VFR conditions, right? And, bonus, if it's VFR, arrival rates are at their max resulting in very few metering delays. You knew that I'm sure

This would be illegal under the contract. Please forward the rotation to contract admin unless it’s the original B361 SLC 7ER. If that is the case it’s simply a single rotation from SLC split and moved for coverage not multiple bases built into one rotation.

I was being a smarta$$. Trip—and subsequently you—confused VFR with VMC.
Yeah, I’m that guy. No apology offered. But I do buy drinks. :)

We need to get premium pay for extensions in the next contract

No thanks. Not unless you want to pay me premium pay while deadheading on a flight with a tired crew who are trying to pay some extra bills. I don't want to incentivize flying tired or sick, myself.

First call should be to Delta scheduling...let the supervisor explain and then correct. If unsatisfied with their answer, then go to ALPA’s scheduling shop.
