Don't know if I believe all that, but when reality ***** slaps all of us more than it already has, I prefer to have head out of the sand, rose colored glasses off, and Denial truly being just a river in Egypt.
Consistent week over week gains in TSA screenings despite the constant media Covid 24/7 coverage, President proving that Covid is not a death sentence, even for an overweight 74 year old. States starting to ignore the hysteria and open up anyway, including states with major theme parks. I don't know I think its possible demand comes back quicker than many seem to think.

How do you prepare for a kick in the balls? Even if you know it's coming, it doesn't hurt any less.

I hope you are right! I'll be ecstatic to say a year or two from now how we never furloughed, nor needed to.

Lol, you never worked for a regional that furloughed. They kick me in the balls but i get to come back to delta? Lol, no prob. I know this is gonna sound crazy, but six months of pay saving every dime like its a race with the devil is a lot of wampum.

I still think the stimulus money will come, and once again, the us taxpayer will be paying my salary. I get all the advantages of a mil job but no one shoots or yells at me. *Shrug* its not like I'm getting furloughed as a RJ FO coming back for a RJ FO wage.

Wrong in the way that you’re still not technically flying through the air like Thelma and Louise...

Plus if you’re in a Miata you’d have no problem bringing that beauty to a stop.

I’m pretty sure that Ooooooff will be correct but he was arguing about events that haven’t even happened yet. That’s like counting your chickens before they hatch.

(Yeah that’s right, I checked both boxes with this post)

i believe it was in one of the council updates.

As long as there 30 to 50K postitive tests and 500-1000 deaths a day, people aren't going to fly like they used to. No one wants to bring it home to Mom and the kids, or their parents. My DIL wears a space suit to see her patients, elderly people. The message should have been, wear the mask, distance and wash your hands, the economy will return.

didn't I say that in March about profitability? Definitely wasn't 'chanting that for months' but yeah i was wrong there. I don't think anyone really predicted this to last as long as it has back then. For the furloughs, we still haven't furloughed, and voluntary measures COULD have eliminated them had the company actually chosen to offer industry standard measures and implemented them months ago like our peers. As for the latter part, I beg to differ.

As an aside, it’s very annoying to have to read over half a dozen council updates to get an idea of what’s going on.
