35 Large RJs coming back?

I still haven't seen a good costing of efficiencies if there is no redundant company or DCI. When they want to justify a merger or integrate a JV, they call it synergies. The right schedule would mean I'm uber-senior and 1 or 2 day trips. It's just another aircraft/fleet type. Put 0 seats in it and haul cargo, I don't really care what's behind the door. And that goes for all our aircraft/fleets.

while 5 legs a day was not a whole lotta fun, the flip side was no red eyes and very minimal time zone changes.
one big advantage the regionals have is pretty much all reserves are SC reserve. Not sure how big that is but right at 2 hour call outs were very common when I was on reserve.

Personally, I'd prefer 15 legs with a good crew and no plane swaps verses 4 hour sits and flipping body clocks. Some of my favorite trips in the RJ were doing just that.

I could see mgt flowing the first 500 9E pilots to reset our longevity, then once down to the pilots who have been here less than 5 years, stapling the rest. Since the CRJs are dead, and the scope permitted E175s are emission restricted past 2028, it makes a lot of sense to do this. You can grandfather in 150 new E175s at RAH/OO under the old emission standards, while you dissolve Endeavor, and avoid the shutdown costs, or the program costs of a new fleet type to keep Endeavor going. The CRJs would only operate at mainline for a year or two while they are being permanently parked, and replaced by new E175s at RAH/OO.

Awwwwww I think this is a bit of hyperbole. How many of those that you speak of would be lineholders anywhere but NY on the -ER? And of those that could be, didn't realize how junior that last big bid was going to go? I got 60 under me on the 350 and I was absolutely floored with disbelief. Prior to the award, I was seriously considering going back to the 330.

Many of those 500 failed the interview, twice. They'll let a few slip thru, but mother D wants control of their accessions. 2x failures are not part of their program.
