Can you get get along with strangers in any other settings? I find interaction with a variety of people is interesting and my professional manner allows me to work with anyone. Perhaps I am the only one.

As long as the other person is not trying to get me killed, violated or fired, they are not ruining my long all inclusive layover

For sure. It doesn't have to ruin a good layover but it can make an otherwise good trip, very painful. Some people seem to just make this job way more painful than it needs to be.

Agreed, and as a previous poster mentioned, the interview team has long done a pretty great job at ensuring 95% of the people on property are truly a pleasure to work with.

I’m looking forward to some of these all inclusive layovers you speak of. I bet UVF is a lot more fun that PIA or MLU.

It's literally like going from the minor leagues to the major leagues. Even from the 717 it's a substantial change for the better.

Are you being obtuse on purpose? There’s nothing wrong with what you’re describing. But spending 4 days with someone with a screw loose is not fun and feels like 2 weeks.

General rule of thumb I have found, but not always true......The more senior the Capt, the more laid back they are..The high ranking military FO's are terrible to fly with.
