That doesn't sound like the 20 somethings I know. Even my small town relatives are more worldly than some of the Captains I fly with. I guess it just depends on your circle.

Spent my last leg explaining all of the fun BK tricks and treat at the airline and the union. He had no idea about the pension, scope (WB and NB) senior (pension) vs junior (furlough), 5th freedom
rights, jv’s, DB vs DC (who wins, who loses). Not just an age thing.

I HIGHLY doubt that and if it is true, he's in the vast minority of junior pilots.

he asked the questions. Agreed the many junior guys don’t think any of the past things will happen to them and shenanigans within the representing body won’t affect them. No ranting going on much to your dismay. Just repeating facts from the past to explain. Different segments attitudes....

I think the small town history teachers still teach history. In many big cities, the agenda is something other than teaching history in history class.
