And that’s why the threat is almost only for reserve pilots haha… in lines they get snapped up it seems.

Man when I was on the ER, those Jersey/Pa guys would have to be on their deathbed to not gobble those up, even on a last minute whiteslip.

Looking for insights on how far out interviews are being scheduled after receiving the invite to interview (I just got it in my inbox)...I'd like to push it out as far as possible to allow for prep time. Of course, I'm also receiving guidance that professional prep isn't necessarily required. Thanks for any info!

As per previous posts, 4-8 weeks… Prep isn’t required, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. What’s a few hundred bucks in the grand scheme of things?

It's because they have to fill the 100 empty NYC320B positions that will be lost when the conversion happens at the end of August.

They don’t get lost. Any position that was left unbid on the most recent AE is open for new hire assignment until the next AE is awarded.

Poorly worded. I ment to say that 100 people will convert out so they better start filling those positions now or they will be wayyyyy short in NYC come September.
