I miss the smoke and noise when those things were taking off. Yes, waxing nostalgic here. Plenty of things to hate about that airplane (steel brakes, bucket reversers etc) but it was a pilots airplane and it never let me down.
You can still dial-a-flap if you want. Just bid over to the 717 and fly out of MDW.

Thanks for the info! That’s great perspective. I was a mid November interview and they told us to expect April.

I’ve heard that hiring quite recently (24 hours) upped the class sizes to clear out the pool and make room. I’d expect sooner.

For all the NHs lurking APC, the Current AE is now open, and you can submit base transfers. Remember, you have until the 14th to place your bid! Good luck!

With NYC73NB being the most junior.
Curious, just flew with an LCA that said the awards had to be rerun due to them awarding manually and the back end of the class getting aircraft preferenced higher up. Any truth to this?

If they wanted them to get used to current scheduling practice they would have called them in the middle of the night, made them call back and given the assignments out first come first served.
