Can anyone give advice on this dilemma? I got the interview invite and as per the instructions have gotten all of my official school transcripts that I didn't have and hadn't thought about in decades (I'm old). I filled out my app from memory and apparently memory didn't serve. In looking at my transcripts my dates are wrong. I've heard that Delta is a stickler for dates matching and the interview invite says not to make any significant changes to the app after receiving the invitation. Dont want to show up with dates not matching...Thoughts?

Question in regards to applying. I'm short on the 1000 turbine total time. Currently at a LCC. Would it be frowned upon by the hiring department to apply and update as I get the hours or is it better to just wait the 5-6 months once I hit the 1000 turbine requirement?

I guess I’d ask, would you rather update your GPA now, and have your App the day of your interview match your transcript, or would you rather the discrepancy right there when you’re sitting down to interview and they ask you why it’s different? For whatever it’s worth, I don’t think either situation is a dealbreaker, I’d just figure out a good explanation on what happened. I know many people who have made minor changes between invite and interview and all of them are flying Delta planes now.

Friends who have interviewed at Delta tell me that they like to find something on your app that's incorrect or controversial and call you out on it just to see how you react (don't get defensive). Sounds to me like this is a gimme to check off that box. Don't sweat it, just tell them what happened, acknowledge you're not perfect but you try, shrug, and move on. If you made it that far they want to hire you.

It goes without saying that Airline Apps is not a great user experience, mistakes are bound to happen. As stated by me and others, just be ready to explain very professionally what happened. No biggie, all the best to you.

You would think that going over it line for line before the interview would be ok? Sometimes we forget to put something that’s important on there. I am thinking as long as you disclose it during interview or asked about it should be ok?
