Thanks. Do you know where I find these days designated as premium? I assume this is what it is...
23.U.9. Additional On Call Reserve Day
a. A pilot awarded an additional on-call reserve day will receive an additional reserve
pro-rata share (e.g., 1/16th, 1/17th , or 1/18th, as applicable).
b. A pilot awarded an additional on-call day designated as premium will receive the
greater of:
1) 7:00 pay, no credit, or
2) Single pay, no credit for the value of the duty period(s) flown on the additional
on-call day.

There is no obligation to check your schedule and acknowledge. However, if you don’t (and something was there prior to 12 hours) you may receive a call the moment your LC begins for something reporting 10 hours later.
If you don’t happen to put eyeballs on your schedule at 11:59 prior to end of off day, how can you hold the company to account if they add something 11 or 10 hours prior that reports under 18 from LC start?

30 hours functions like a normal X day for assignment purposes. 23.S.2.a.5. for rotations and 23.S.2.c.3. for short calls. In other words, the latest they can add something reporting 10 - 18 hours after this 30 hour rest/ PR/ PB/ X day is 12 hours prior to the conclusion of this 30 hour rest / PR / PB / X day.

PCS can award them so unless there is some programing limiting them, then they should be awarded. Once awarded they can't be removed unless by mutual consent. If you are on #7 I doubt you will consent to it being removed... or #8 etc. You have 16 on call days so that would be the only limit I see. If they are avoiding pilots who bid for them in order and give them to someone who didn't that's a violation.
