Me too! Where is the best place to complain to our union reps? I want as many as possible. I don't get why people like myself or the individual I am quoting are YS'ing it and not getting it, whereas other folks who don't want it are getting it.

I’d also like an answer on the best place to mention that I had a blanket YS for SC and was passed over several times last month.

As usual, file a pay inquiry. Once they deny it, file an STS.

Send your LEC reps an email.

Send the appropriate ALPA committee a DART.

If you think you have been harmed pay wise, submit jetsteam case via pilot assist app, then file STS with ALPA.

At this point, I’d be happy with a daily scheds timeline. That they actually use EVERY day. Got out of my crappy 3 day assignment tomorrow via a reserve green slip/2 day short call assignment abortion that I have no idea if it is contractually correct. But bad trip gone, currently sitting in cartons on an all inclusive, and have my last required short call assignment on the 9th. Today is the 7th. Last week short calls were only assigned day prior. This week it’s 2 days prior. I can adapt to the game but I need to know the rules.

SC can never be assigned (i.e. forced) 2 days out. They can however be awarded to pilots who volunteer for SC 2 days out.

Is this another blatant violation of our contract? Mgmt just "testing the waters" to see how we'll react? I don't bid reserve more than once per year, so I'm not full up on the reserve rules, but ####!

All the instances on FB so far have been people with a YS in for SC that they either messed up or forgot. But it could what you said I guess.

I was assigned a 2 day trip on Long Call 48 hours out. I checked the reserve availability list, and there were 5-6 other long call pilots that shouldve been awarded the 2 day trip ahead of me (I was in the 5 day availability group). I called scheduling for additional information, and they said all of those other pilots were slotted for short call, and that I didn't have the ability to see all that information. I sent the data to the union for now.

Slotted for SC is BS. They either have an assignment at the time of coverage or do not. I was "slotted" for SC and a fellow RES (commuter) had a YS in, and guess who got the trip and who got SC. This crap needs to be called out and addressed by the union!
