Yes that is a reroute. And since it affected the last leg of your rotation any rotation credit will also pay the same premium as the reroute.

Thanks, guru. Along those lines, should we expect RRPY to show up when the rotation is closed out?

Sometimes. Often though it takes a few days.

MOU #24-01 covers Rotation Change to Same Flight (Op to DH or DH to Op)

Negotiators' Notepad 24-03: Reroute Rules and Pay Treatments covers reroutes involving last leg and how to calculate the credit.

I thought that was the way it was anyway.

23.S.1.f.1) seems to imply otherwise.

Indeed. Additionally, 23.S.1.f.6) that states: "in seniority order, among pilots who have submitted a yellow slip for conversion to short call and who have at least the maximum number of short call credits"

My layman brain interprets pretty clearly that if the SC open time is posted as available and a pilot Yellow Slips it, they are in the ladder of awards for that open time even if they are beyond the SC max. Ask the question, where did that un-awarded open time SC go if not to an above-max SC yellow slip? Apparently they can just go "poof" and aren't awarded at all.

I was more referring to just assigning SCs, not a bid for open time SC. And that the company can ignore a YS in the “first to be called” if already at the max. Not an OT SC. If I’m wrong I’m wrong, and I learn.

This is my first time hitting the max so it’s new to me, but where does it say they can just ignore a YS? And what’s their criteria for doing so? They obviously must have the ability to award it or that entire section of the PWA entailing the additional pay becomes superfluous.

Yes, and I've seen people on FB post their schedules with 10+ SCs in some months which they YS for extra money. So they definitely can (and should) award them.
