Rest cannot grow to 30 hours. It must be a presumptive 30 hours.

As a non-commuter, I am loving the increased SC usage, but I feel for our commuting brethren. Any other SC hogs been successful in YS'ing much beyond 6?

Can they do that? I thought there was some sort of assignment protocol for SCs. They are biddable now so if you bid for them, then... 23.S.3.c. Crank up the violation ticket compensator.

I take Hostile's post that he was bidding for them. Each SC after 6 gets 3 additional hours of pay.

Correct, I kept the standing first for short call YS in.

Is it even possible to get more than 9? The box at the bottom of the YS request doesn't allow you to enter anything higher than 9.

PCS can award them so unless there is some programing limiting them, then they should be awarded. Once awarded they can't be removed unless by mutual consent. If you are on #7 I doubt you will consent to it being removed... or #8 etc. You have 16 on call days so that would be the only limit I see. If they are avoiding pilots who bid for them in order and give them to someone who didn't that's a violation.

If I remember correctly there was a pilot in DTW A earlier this year that got into the mid 20s for YS short call. I belive the only time he got used was for a local mx flight. I think it was 24.
