RES to REG. Solo RES day on last day of month. If I put in a slip to ‘volunteer’ for a 4-day, does it pay like a green slip on the last 3 days?

Did you call and ask why?

Yes. There is a separate slip for this in iCrew, in the “Reserve preferences and slips” called “spillover preferences”

Define "pay like a green slip"...like it will pay 2x during your REG month? Or it will pay above guarantee during your RES month?

Thanks! That's very helpful. So if I do one IVD on say the 8th and another on the 14th that would count as my two IVD instances for the year? Good info, I'll have to adjust my strategy or just plan to drop 4 IVDs in a row somewhere.

So in your situation definitely bid LC on OCT 1 because you will be completely useless.

Also, since it looks like you have a REG trip ending the last day of September, I'd consider bidding at least 2 LC days after CQ since you won't be legal for anything without a 30 hour rest, so those days are basically going to be taken out either by sitting on LC not legal for anything or you'll be on an assigned 30 hour rest and still not usable.
More excellent info, thanks!

So if I absolutely must be OFF on the 4th in my scenario is there anyway they can use me on the 4th by assigning a trip during LC on the 1st? Or does the 30 hr rest req null that?

Swiped out sick on the first, log in MiCrew shows it (screencapped). iCrew shows REMARKS: PERFORMED BY MICREW, also screenshoted.

RES as usual. Going to be out for 6-8 weeks. (Multiple torn tendons, one severed)

Never call in OK. That block of LC Days charged as SICK.

Some X Days. I was in icrew checking some pay stuff, lo and behold I'm on the reserve availability list.

I'm sure CS will somehow make this my fault.

As I understand it, I'm noncontactable while SICK. And there's a pretty good chance I'm either going to be traveling for surgery/therapy, in the hospital or on some pretty heavy drugs post surgery. (I'm on some mild but still can't fly ones, besides the whole I can't even tie my shoes, nevermind fly problem at the moment)

Anyone else on RES have them showing you back on call with no call in well nor an OK on your schedule?

Not sure if this is related to the MiCrew sick being wonky, or just CS ineptitude.

My god man, how many original tendons do you have left?

To answer your question (that has been answered multiple times in perpetuity and I'm surprised you're even asking), you are sick until you call/swipe in well.

Not to start a fight (but I guess I am), your outrageous and blatantly risky behavior increases my health insurance premiums Sir!

Very few.

This was my good arm.

Ironically this is likely from a bad car wreck last year, that ended up in a lawsuit where DL attached themselves and got more than I did recouping medical bills and sick leave from my pain/suffering settlement.

And then UMR required me to try "alternative treatments" before approving my surgery, and a known potential side effect of the "alternative treatment" is weakened tendon attachment points. Plus a 6 week min wait after last injection before surgery can be done.

So a 2-3 week out for Tommy John surgery has turned into 6-10 weeks out and three surgeries. The one originally needed, plus two ones where a tendon tore and another detached.

Original extensor tear was in the Navy, not fixed properly, and then aggravated by getting rear ended by a dump truck doing 45 when I was stopped, and then getting jerked around by UMR for a year.

The two others are a result of UMRs "alternative treatment" they required to be tried first, and I was literally folding a dog bed to put it in my camper when two tendons let go.

How exactly am I being risky here?

I was actually on my way to get my flight physical done when I was rear ended.
