The other question is were you delayed or actually rerouted? A delay incurs no form of reroute pay. A reroute of any sort will generate L4 pay. Again in theory you shouldn’t be due L9 pay for a reroute because you weren’t rerouted into a day off. But if the PB day is there you may still get it and again if you do consider that a win.

sounds to me like they can’t remove it... but maybe I’m missing something.

That means they can’t remove it in its entirety. They can always shorten a SC once you’ve started it.

I honestly don’t know. I feel like there’s a distinction between getting removed because of a prior assignment that overlaps vs removing a SC in order to give you a different assignment (rotation or rest). I mean that PWA section doesn’t prohibit the company from removing a SC that you aren’t legal for due to 30/168. In that case they literally have to remove you or else it would be a FAR violation for you to sit SC.

Exception: A reserve pilot awarded or assigned a rotation that conflicts with a future short call period will be removed from such future short call period and it will not count towards the pilot’s short call obligation under Section 23 S. 2. c.
