I never saw that so much in the old days. Yeah, a few mission hackers out there, but as a whole not so much. Then again we didn't have 117 etc. either.

From: 7ER B...whatever that means.
It didn't used to be this bad and well in the past we didn't exist in such a broken relationship. Probably well before you were hired (I'm assuming you relatively new here like ~10 years or so). However, being apathetic about it concerns me. You folks should be concerned about this reshuffling. It's truly a very antagonistic group that they've moved around to key positions in Flt Ops.
You can have all the resolve you want. However, they control your day to day life when on the job and they can make your life pretty miserable along the way. Sure, we can grieve it. But where has that gotten us? Recall the infamous "it's not a grievance until the arbitrator says so". So unless, until, that process runs out, our lives while on the job (and to some extent off time) become pretty unsavory. Going back to your tenure here, perhaps you don't recognize the names that were moved in to key positions or their history. Nothing about these moves is a good thing for this pilot group.

Former Managing Director of Flt Ops. Former Director and CP in ATL. Ask people that have been around awhile about him. I'm not posting anything here on APC.

Our best move at this point would be to fortify the MEC, voting out the remaining DH loyalists.

It was a strange comment and a strange discussion point.

I wish I knew what the LCP meant when he said leadership wanted to bring it back. He couldn’t clearly articulate wha that meant…but that “professional standards had gotten very lax with all the recent hiring and they wanted to get back to Delta’s roots.”
It was a strange comment and a strange discussion point.

”uniform compliance is going to be a sticking point with verbal warning to start, 2nd time write up, subsequently sent to ATL for talk with BS”
At least ATL guys won’t have far to go. Also you get paid 5.15 now to do it. Don’t forget union representation. That’ll be a 10.30 day of cost to the company.

passing along this fun ridbit:

Time to re-launch the hats off campaign.

So, I guess no one seems to care about the massive flight ops re-org just announced yesterday??? You should probably pay attention to the shuffling and re-org here, we've got some not so pilot friendly people back in the chairs again. I was sad to see BS move over to CSSC. I'm hoping they are broadening him to eventually take over from JL.
That was some pretty direct language in that memo. Never seen anything quite like it here at Delta.
At the line level, the only thing I grokked was “there’s a new sheriff in town.”
