Are you arguing that women’s basketball is the most physical sport?

Boxing is considered the most physical sport, followed by Ice Hockey.

purposefully leaving people stranded at an outstation for an extra night is a choice………

all kidding aside this is kind of a sh1t approach. Dont let someone elses lack of integrity make you join them in the gutter. Cards, good byes, hat, whatever…….but actively tanking the operation and affecting people that have nothing to do with our trials and tribulations is pretty low brow. Yes the company needs to fix our pay. Yes it is theft. Yes we need alpa to hit them with a hammer.

and before you respond with “but the company” reread what I wrote and then tell me the justification for stranding people where they dont want to be

I didn't read it like that. If you're fatigued you make the call. Doesn't matter if at outstation, hub or sitting in CDG. You can't handle the heat if you intentionally flew fatigued and then bent metal. I've been in those interviews with the FAA and NTSB. They will figure it out and they will ask you why you flew. If you tell them you did it because you didn't want to strand pax, you just sealed your fate. Nothing, I repeat, nothing is worth flying fatigued or sick. Just don't do it. Be smart, make the call. You are the one licensed, not the company.

One of their things I found over the years was how a pilot performed on the job rarely ever changed. Those doing the minimum or less however always had some ever changing reason why be it contract negotiations, pay issue, bad reroute the prior month ect…

While I agree with you that actively tanking is objectively wrong, I think the key word there was borderline. Good leadership, good work environments that support and don’t gas light move the needle towards helping out.

I liked the way someone put it that play stupid games win long term stupid prizes. Delta is building a culture among the group hired since 2015 and definitely since 2022. The constant pettiness and word salad excuses are going to have long term consequences. Heard a rumor that there has been a noticeable drop in working extra particularly among pilots hired since the pandemic.

I’ve watched the attitude change towards the CPO since I’ve been here. It’ll be interesting to watch.
