There's no current choice but to fight for your pay.

all kidding aside this is kind of a sh1t approach. Dont let someone elses lack of integrity make you join them in the gutter. Cards, good byes, hat, whatever…….but actively tanking the operation and affecting people that have nothing to do with our trials and tribulations is pretty low brow. Yes the company needs to fix our pay. Yes it is theft. Yes we need alpa to hit them with a hammer.

and before you respond with “but the company” reread what I wrote and then tell me the justification for stranding people where they dont want to be
Exactly, make sure you have a good reason. The company knows how to avoid fatigue calls and illness can happen anytime anywhere, just like mechanical issues with airplanes.

...it wouldn't be the minimum!

You can have all the resolve you want. However, they control your day to day life when on the job and they can make your life pretty miserable along the way. Sure, we can grieve it. But where has that gotten us? Recall the infamous "it's not a grievance until the arbitrator says so". So unless, until, that process runs out, our lives while on the job (and to some extent off time) become pretty unsavory. Going back to your tenure here, perhaps you don't recognize the names that were moved in to key positions or their history. Nothing about these moves is a good thing for this pilot group.
Being apathetic is the only response. What would you have us do or feel about it? I expect management (by evidence in my 3 airline career) to make these types of moves and to generally be adversarial. The last PWA cycle has been particularly retaliatory and we all see it. These are business decisions Delta leadership has made and we and they will live with the consequences regardless. The timing going into section 6 makes me think it will be intentionally prolonged and difficult. As expected.

I'd really like to see how this thing fleshes out. My guess is once they start paying people 10:30 to be counseled that's gonna tone down pretty quick. Also I'm curious on how they're gonna enforce this. They don't have the personnel in the CP offices to walk the terminals. Maybe in ATL? Or are they gonna unleash the LCAs on us? That'll be a really bad move to pit the pilot group and the LCAs against one another.
It's far past time for a hats off campaign. We need to start this ASAP. MEC are you listening
This is why I will never consider LCP here. I refuse to be the hammer at the whim of management. This is a teaching position not a police position. I did LCA in a previous life and they tried to pull that. The LCA ranks were halved in 2 months.

and it seems like the FAs have either a thousand uniform permutations, or they just wear whatever the hell they want, with piercings and tattoos clearly visible. And they are in contact with the pax more than anyone. #iconic

I've been thru about 10 contracts here. This adversarial thing really started cooking when one guy took over fly ops.
