But, were you here when Abraham Lincoln invented DBMS? If not, your opinion is baseless. (oops that’s the part I wasn’t supposed to say out loud)

there was no need for discord prior to TA1 because Delta pilots just took whatever management offered as soon as they could.

The company hasn’t changed its labor relations outlook one iota.

Did a year as a 2nd officer LCA on the 727. Back then they gave me 88FO pay to do it. As an 88 CA I was asked again. I said thanks for the offer but no.
Never understood why a sim instructor gets paid whatever they can hold, but a LCA just gets a 15% over ride, and only when doing a LC. I mean who’s at greater risk?
Is that still the pay structure?

Plus that 15% override is only on the block. So a fleet like the 717 gets hosed because a lot of the trips have a decent amount of credit where other fleets have more hard time trips.

You have no obligation to "catch up" or to voice your opinion about everything you missed while you were away. Give it up man, try to be normal.

Self-awareness is a part of good judgement.

Of course I'm not obligate. I just like all the attention it gets from the offended class who feel the need to police the internet and pilots who have nothing better to do but post their disapproval versus discuss an actual topic. Well done.

I was an LCA for a while. At no point, either during "INDOC," or in the Biannual Flight Standards meetings, did anyone even remotely mention being uniform police.

That's the purview of CP's, not LCA's.

As far as LCA pay, it's now codified in the PWA. And, of course, it's not simple.
