The 321NEOs also will occasionally reset ACARS inflight. Comms will not be affected but ACARS initialization data and out/off times will disappear from the ACARS menu. The OOOI times will still be transmitted to company but you will receive the confirm ACARS time email. I’ve experienced this issue 2-3 times per year. Never had to update times or take off / landing currencies.

A pilot cannot pick up an illegal rotation. Until scheduling rebuilds it no one can pink it up or swap into it. There is no contractual timeline for them to fix it other than they cannot award to anyone like that so they functionally have to by two days prior to report.

I will not take the time to explain to an FA the physics involved, but in a the cockpit of a 321 I'm likely just as far from the CG as the aft galley, and since the airplane doesn't flop around like a noodle our rides should be nearly identical. This whole wive's tale of how "it's worse in the back of of a 321" is suspect at best, but they all seem to believe it.
That said, I haven't heard the phrase "I don't feel safe" as an excuse to not open Sprites since last summer. Someone from IFS told me they were sending 'secret shoppers' out on random flights to see what was happening and slap some wrists. In my experience since then it has gotten better.

Our perspective of the rides sitting comfortably in the front vs FAs that are not only walking up and down the aisle but pushing heavy carts is quite different.
