So I work and someone else gets paid as well? No.

As evidenced by the ALV restriction. It’s there to protect pilots. Flying an IA over the restriction is no different than trying to fly over vacation.

Except this wasn't the purpose of IAs. Since it's being used as a shortcut to running GS, it unfairly excludes pilots from getting premium pay who otherwise want it or deserve it

Who, exactly, is flying "high time"?

What is "high time" anyway? (20 hours a month? 50? 80+?)

My 12 month lookback is about 800 block hours. Significantly more than most. (Narrow body, domestic, top 30% of category)

The PAS (Pilot Activity Statement) is fascinating.

What, exactly, is the "norm"?

(Someone has to actually fly airplanes. Planes don't fly themselves. Yet.)

305 in rolling 365 days.

I've averaged 365 block a year as long as I've worked here.

That is entirely too much work for me. Block for me for the rolling 12 is 250ish. Top 30% NB
