I worked for a part 135 operation where the CEO was a Gulfstream pilot previously. Dude was ruthlessly anti-pilot. Crabs in a bucket comes to mind

My favorite part of the announcement is this line:
Endeavor: Hemorrhaging pilots and unable to meet their contractual (management requested?) obligations.
DPJ: Bought by Wheels Up, now hemorrhaging money and likely declaring bankruptcy soon.
Comair: Gone.
I'm not sure the company could have given a larger middle finger to the pilot group with this. With his track record, should we be expecting big D to shut down the Flight Ops department in the next few years?
Prior to joining Delta, Ryan served as the CEO of Endeavor, the President & COO of Delta Private Jets, and the President of Comair.

Lack of Candor? Have you ever met him? He's a nice and humble person. Endeavor pilots seem to like him when he was in charge there. The only complaints pilots have are the "optimizer" which had way more to do with the retirement of the 88 combined with the collapse of DCI, and him flying as a 767A

Uggggggh. Optimizer. What’s a SIL? When he was in charge of negotiations, he was reportedly not up to the task. He’s no Steve Dickson.
OTOH, as the lead negotiator for 2x COVID LOA’s which worked out very well for us (20-01 with no end date for NFLY & the Vaccine LOA which essentially got us trips touching drops for up to 4 long rotations with pay). So there’s that.
I’ll bet PB is just a little upset right now…
P.S. Trip, you’ve outdone yourself. 🤦🏻♂️ I’ll bet if a Nuke went off you’d find the bright side too (no pun intended).

Well, the pilot showing support for Gumm is also the pilot that was in support of firing/terminating any Delta pilot who didn't want to get a Covid shot. No leave of absence without pay.....flat out termination. That mindset was suspect at the time and has not aged well IMHO.
