Bidding WBA over NBA is a short sided take? How?
Senior WBB has consistently paid more than NBA for GS chasers, also not short sided. The third option of senior NBB is a risky move and short sided is a fair assessment of that option. Before 23M7 farming LCA bidding was the money maker. I'd expect that to return with the number of new hires on the way.

WBA isn't chasing anything and WBB PB days aren't recent.

It’s not “my” trip.

How does he know it wouldn’t have been covered by a more senior pilot? Or a SC pilot? He doesn’t.

Do I enjoy what’s happening right now wrt to scheduling? Nope.

But all these mental gymnastics aside, calling it “my” trip is entitlement.

He didn’t know. But relative, to the junior person who got it, it was his. Yes, that’s barring someone senior to him who would’ve gotten it.

I think it’s mental gymnastics to willingly not know what hockeypilot meant: that the trip was “his” moreso than the junior pilots’. I’m 169% sure hockeypilot knows that if a senior pilot to him wanted the same trip he wouldn’t have gotten it.

The same set of circumstances that is causing the current failure in trip coverage is the exact same as what caused the rampant batch size violations 3 years ago. The only thing different between now and then is who's getting paid and the better M7 tracking we have now.

Because maybe the individuals situation prevents him from bidding to super junior WBA? I know it’s a shocker to some of yall that sometimes WBA isn’t the final fix all.
And maybe WBB does not work, because last face it, that kind of lifestyle does not work for everyone. Sorry to pop people bubble again.
Fact is, the coverage ladder collapse screws people, plan and simple, and the IA free for all is just that, a free for all. And I can say with certainty that I’ve missed many because people senior to me already had been assigned it BEFORE I got the phone call.

That’s a long winded way to say “you’re right, he didn’t know”

But why does that matter? His point, and mine, is that it was “his” moreso than the junior pilots’.

Thats a fact, and it matters.

That's why we need to get that below in-base green slip. Write your reps!
