I dunno, my senator doesn't give a **** what I think, but he votes in line with a majority opinion in my godforsaken state. At least I can drop him an online form email. #FML

Quote: Agree with most of that except they won't pay unless we make them. The only way they're going to pay the affected pilot on most of the QSs is if we hire full-time people to the scheduling committee to check every single one. We were also supposed to have automation for many scheduling "errors", but the MEC completely failed to implement that.
Talk to your reps. The reps I’ve spoken to said the 23M7 pay automation is legit.

I’ve also seen some insane time cards from 23M7 farmers. They are paying, and with the automation the payments won’t slip through the cracks.

Had I known this was being discussed with the company and would append our agreement... I would have fired off a strongly worded letter to my rep, 'cause that's just what we do.

I think everyone should go to the 23M7 report and use the "all" function for their category... eye opening.

Question: Does 23M7 from a skipped WS count towards the WS-pickup limit for the harmed pilot?

Quote: A - I never said GS

and too - QS will largely replace GS when things get a little hot. (most of the summer)
and yet, green slips go out currently with the inverse assignment free-for-all, but now that’s been improved by forcing a quick slip first.

But the 'farmers' don't really care, since they have zero intention of (almost) ever actually flying one of their WS's...

Quote: if it was a supermajority, they did follow the policy manual. since you’re the one claiming they did not, what was the breakdown?
The policy manual states "9.B.1.b: All other amendments to the PWA (side letters of agreement) that have
been recommended for approval by a majority vote of the MEC shall be subject to membership ratification."

This sounds like stories of the past ("old guard" I think they were called) where the ALPA Admin and MEC know better than the pilots, so there's no need to ask for input.

We aren't there yet. Wait until the easy button is installed. And yes IAs which will be QS are going out daily.
