Rotations went to turdville when the md88 retired.
Every 4-day from hell on the md88 was a sacrifice for every other fleet!

Lol I remember that message. Its too bad he couldn't have pontificated on that a bit more, even better if he then had the power to change something. I'm guessing the person who is in charge of pre month trip costs, isn't held accountable for post month costs. Now, rather than try to fix it, they do everything they can to ensure you can't drop trips (pre posted sick, etc...). It's pretty bad when bid packet trips are so crappy that people pass them up even for premium pay. This month we had a handful of decent trips, but in general, I'll rarely fly a bid packet trip.

PSA...

Senior's good trips are out there for the taking. Be sure to check Q trips in open time because they won't be on the swap board if someone is trying to use PBs.

To those saying they can’t understand how 787s would be dangled in Section 6:

Tell us you weren’t here for C12, or know anything about C12 without telling us.

We also brought 5000+ pilots worth of regional jet flying in house.

I wasn't here for C12 but here's the reality.

If management needs WB/NB/BWB whatever, they will buy it and ALPA will negotiate a rate if not already in the contract.

The company going "if we dont do away with (insert contract clause here) we wont buy new shiny plane" is just crap and most of us "JuNiORz" know it.

The point is…..they’ve done it before…..and the pilots gleefully ratified C12.

We had ALPA reps wetting their pants saying instead of 717s, they’ll re engine the crj200s into a super efficient machine unless we give them scope relief on the 76 seater.
