You don’t have that risk. Gumm published his anti-credit Flight Ops goal in the 2026 flight path.

Lol right. But ya, that would be another way to helps fix this current issue. Build trips people want to fly AND trips that have buffers in them for when things go sideways. But it's not like we have an ATC staffing issue that often causes things to go sideways or anything...

Yes, someone posted on FB that we cancelled a DTW-PVG flight the other day becuase they were missing one FO and they could not find a single FO to fly a QS. It's gotten so bad that they couldn't find one pilot to come into work 3 or 4 days that would have paid them more than most of us made in our first year at the regionals. Dats bad!

you must not have been here that long. credit ebbs and flows even on the domestic side. when they are in cost-cutting/savings mode, credit decreases. when things are relatively good and they are focused on other priorities, credit generally increases. RG won't be around forever. Once his attempt to run us like the regionals from the early 2000s ends in disaster, we'll see credit improvement.

Delta 2016-2018 was an amazing Air Line. I would love for our post COVID hires to experience working for a championship 🏆 team.

What was the "brand year" with no cancellations?

2017 I believe. I recall seeing OCC shirts and jackets with that year.

Could not agree more. Amazing how the airline was performing better AND it was a more enjoyable place to work.

What year did Ryan Gumm make captain at Delta? I think it's the same year we were blessed with the optimizer.

Only 9 years. The optimizer cat is out of the bag. Things are relatively good. Record profits.

You have way more faith in management than I do. Sure, RG won't be around forever. But if you think his replacement will be an improvement, I've got some oceanfront property in St Louis for you.

I am ready for the update from the union saying all the problems are solved and expect to look and vote on a TA next week.
