WS above RSV is sancrosanct in my opinion, it drives RSV utilization down and has a multiplier effect for swap/drop/premium opportunities, all apart from m7 and aa.

We put the cat in the bag on RRTE in C19, not willing to go backwards one inch.
yep. the current MEC Chairman was on the negotiating committee that got us those excellent re-route rules. No way in hell he signs off on a deal that undoes them the very next cycle.

There’s no reason to reinvent the wheel here. Putting IBGS ahead of OOBWS would solve 95% of 23M7 and be a gain to 98% of the pilot group

Agreed, and removing the trigger would be even better. If you work on a day off 2X always, regardless of what you do the rest of the month.

RES is a fantastic option for senior individuals who value a better quality of life over money.
Yeah, they have all the tools they need to solve the problem they created. Hire more pilots is the obvious long term solution, but if they used PBS premium, SS, VAS, Standby Rotations, and extra on-call days proactively they'd be ahead of the problem instead of always trying to put out the fire. Then, don't waste time and reserves breaking up trips and DH'ing everyone around. Send the whole thing out as soon as it's uncovered.

AGREED, hard NO.

Funny thing, that ask would still not fix the company’s problem. We are black on reserve coverage every day at the beginning of the month. Most days 10-20 pilots short of reserves required. By the time we get to the coverage day, ZERO reserves available. The problem is not the coverage ladder.

Restoring PB usage goes a long way toward getting reserves in the game late in the month.

At this point we are going to need something from the company if they want us to restore PB days.

This would INCREASE the number of trips needing to be covered significantly. Everyone would drop everything they possibly could. I see no scenario where the company would ever agree to this.

this is already happening. even LCAs. spend a few minutes contemplating LCAs doing it which reduces their availability to long Lange plan OE. I say none of that in a negative light, it's their contractual right to do it.

Make the GS trigger = your original awarded line value. And award SS the same order as GS/QS so line clearing by the super seniors is less appealing.
