It would be a much easier to read chart if they just showed the bands and footnoted what planes were included in the bands.

I know, call and aks'em tomorrow...

Do not, EVER, Assume they will do the common sense thing, and cancel your CQ. I've had them send me to CQ when I was 1 trip away from leaving the category! You should call them and beg them not to send you, maybe you can white slip something to fill the hole, but never assume they will do what seems to be the smart thing! :D

iCrew is the correct way to do a back end deviation- it takes care of everything right there (e.g. cancelling your hotel, seating preference (ha!), and updates your rotation.

Back end deviation isn't just for deviating to someplace other than base- I use it all the time to take an earlier flight home to Mecca.

Where is it written that the 'correct way' to book a back end deviation is in iCrew?? Travel net works just fine, followed by a call to the VRU to cancel the hotel after you land on the last working leg. Only a fool would cancel his hotel room on sign in! You never know what might be going on, weather wise, 4-6 days out, when you return, you may NEED it!

iCrew automates it... basically one stop shopping.

The options it gives you are "keep my hotel", "cancel my hotel only if booking sucessful," and one other...

thanks for the info folks. I guess the key points are: After check in for the rotation, and it is positive space.

If those are the correct pay rates for United, pretty much guaranteed never to buy a 380 huh?

You want to do something about that, then you also have to make IAs pay straight pay too. I'll get on board with that, but otherwise not even closely interested. And morality has nothing to do with it, unless you are referring to forcing a pilot to forego his contractual rights to chase windmills as being moral.

Make IA and GS pay regular pay to the pilot who flies, and the company pays 150-200% to a fund to offset furlough medical costs.

They have already been approved by the FAA and both Boeing & Airbus have started creating apps for them because they understand the vital role the iPad will play for airlines. But Delta is going to go with Microsoft Surace. Brilliant.

I actually think the Surface will be the better choice in the long run. MS is much more adaptable and business friendly compared to Apple.
