I've had that happen before, too. Same deal. Middle seat. I tried again later after some seats opened up and switched around and was able to get a window seat in economy comfort with ease.

So, maybe there is something that keeps us from picking economy comfort middle seats but not economy comfort window seats? :confused:

That may be it, I noticed there were a few middle E/C seats open, I found the one E/C window seat and it let me change to that, maybe it won't let us pick a middle seat?

Life's too short to drink that crap, unless someone else is buying it! :D

Yeah, you're right. Thanks to your heads up, I looked at my stupid DH on Sunday. Same thing. Middle seat. Shows all kinds of EC seats available but just locks up when I pick one. Maybe it has to be inside 24 hours.

This, however, is something that definitely needs to be fixed. We shouldn't have to work our own travel on a scheduled DH. I also love the deer in the headlights look on the gate agent when we show up and say "hey, we're your deadheaders." Like we're trying to pimp a ride. C'mon Delta. Fix this!

I actually like to drink some nice wine and a cocktail or two. It's these damn cheap ass narrow body captains who ruin it for all of us!:D

I, thanks to being on rsv, always end up with a dhd within 24 hours. It used to not let me pick economy comfort until i checked in... now it will when i pick out my seat!

More better... although I always sign in with newK locator number. That dude gets it done!

It must be newK's locator. I tried Barack Obama's locator and that didn't work. I did have the option for an in-seat TelePrompTer, however.

I've always been able to book the E/C seats way more than 24 hours out, not the one middle seat though, I never book a middle seat. I'd rather walk. Maybe it will only release the middle E/C seat inside 24?

I'll be in MSP on New Years Eve, heading out to NRT...

On a brighter note, we had one 44yr. F/A on her last flight today from NRT to LAX, and on my DH to MCO, we had one 40yr. F/A who is retiring at the end of Nov.
