True, but that value has likely declined due to the marginalization of VS through alliance buildups and BA winning the BMI game (what a boondoogle that was), and the fact that VS hasn't turned a profit in a while.

FWIW, NWA owned a big slice of CAL, along with some pretty hefty veto rights, and there was never a merger there.

True but what I'd like to to know is: If we have "control" (per section 1.B.19), how does it affect us? I'm not a lawyer. My interpretations of our contract seldom seem to come true!!:eek: So I'd like to hear other opinions.

As for Sink r8's request, my opinion is that the company should buy us the equipment since it is their initiative to drastically change the way our literature is being viewed (books-->electronic format). But since there are many pilots currently using their own personal devices, maybe I am in the 38% minority again:D
