People complained about too many pilots on reserve on weekends and less probability to fly on the weekends??
Because they passionately want to fly more on the weekends as opposed to week days?? I find it hard to believe. P.S. Could be one of those DALPA survey misinterpretations :D |

We can always do the reverse you know, just depends on what you want to sell to other pilots who might bid into your equipment.
http://seattleskindoc.files.wordpres...group-boat.png I asked, "You mean I don't have to work, I can do anything I want?" He said, "Yes, anything you want." I thought about it for a minute, I'd never really considered it, so I said the first thing that came to mind, "Well, if money were no object, and I could do anything I wanted, I'd be living on a 65 foot sailboat in Tahitti, with ten naked native women crewing it for me!" You must remember, I was 26 and single. He laughed and said, "That's pretty good, I've never heard that one before!" I guess it worked, but I'm still waiting for the 65 foot sailboat and the 10 naked native women! :D I guess the fact that I have 3 daughters is my -payback- for even thinking about it! |

Does anyone know if we still have to submit expenses for training via DBMS or does that happen automatically now? Thanks,
Denny What "expenses" do you have? Cab fare? Tips? Meals? They pay for hotels and perdiem so...? I don't think I've ever submitted any, am I doing it wrong? |

For some reason that reminds me of this:

Hahaha! That reminds me of my new hire interview, sitting in the rocking chair, talking to Dr. Janus. He asked me, "If money were no object, what would you do?"

True. An internet voting setup probably costs less than what "we're" paying for a few days' FPL for the ALPA posters here.
It's 2013. I shouldn't, and can't show up to vote. And I shouldn't have to. A ton of stuff passes every month that you could do an app based memrat on in less than a week. When it's as easy as it is now to do this, why wouldn't you let pilots vote on LOAs etc? Once again, draw your own conclusions. I shouldn't have to go through a middleman to have my vote counted. This isn't 1880 anymore. |

Well Timbo, let's look at this objectively.
What happens on a typical 744 overnight? Let's ask Carl... http://dailygrindhouse.com/wp-conten...ay-divorce.jpg I hate it when they do that. Carl |

I get the feeling some of these ALPA leaders still go to the bank to cash checks. There's an app for that.
