And as an aside, bidding reserve on vacation is definitely the way to go. I did a spreadsheet on it, and it is eye opening... just an example, but if you have 2 weeks, and an ALV of 75 hours, you will get paid 85.5 and still have 6 x days. So that means you will "work" only 10 days for 85.5 hours. Better check my math though...

On Deltanet, check it out. I know this is just for requirements and not headcount but RA and team are truly getting closer to that 9000 number:) TEN I don't understand why you state this, you state you know the number is not a head count but you then compare it to a head count. Why? |

I think new aircraft rumors die on this forum faster than they come on.

Did you get bumped? I've never seen a rough A330 landing, so I'm assuming your landing was so smooth that no one even knew you were on the ground.

The 744 rumor is bouncing around. Someone in the crew room was telling everyone that his friend just read on yahoo news that Delta had made it official that it was down to just used A330s or new B773s. That Delta was going to stick with aircraft with a proven record and thus no 787s or A350s. I've yet to find that article. Now remember, the 744s or more 330s or 777s equals WB growth... what are we willing to give up to get that? :D |

(using April Data) April 73N B extra X-Day: YES April ALV for 73N was 75:30, Reserve Gar. 73:30: May 73N B on reserve: Paid 78:39 12 on call days 12 X-Days "Full" when credit reaches 56:55 If you download the "PBS Gouge" on the Crew Resources and Scheduling page there is an excel that an "ALPA GUY" constructed that will do all the math for you. You can input other types of leaves, CQ days, etc. No offense T:D, I'm sure yours works well too. I made my own spreadsheet on it a while back but ditched it once I used the one the ALPA GUY designed..... |
Freaking brilliant if you ask me.
American Airlines testing early boarding in Austin - Austin Business Journal ^^ saw it on deltanet but went and found an external article. |

That airplane, at least from the outside, can do no wrong. Every landing is like a low pass that at some point ends with a landing but it's hard to tell when it touched.

Thanks for bringing DAL's great vacation to light again. Ask a SWA guy next time you see one about SWAptamizer. Now, that is eye opening. |
