Are they all ALPA people? Getting 82 hours to do nothing?

Dunno. but I just gave myself a 3% raise (after tax take home pay) by taking Comcast's boxes back to them & turning off my wife's E-Channel." She's a little PO'd, but she's cooking dinner instead of catching up on whatever Linsay Lohan did today.

Comcast with no extra channels cost more than:
  • Property taxes on the primary residence (which pays for Police, Firemen and Schools)
  • Insurance on same home, or
  • Insurance on all 3 cars
  • Kid's health insurance
  • Kid's school
  • Any other utility on a nearly 4,000 sq ft house (gas, electric, etc ...)
  • Gas for cars
  • Annual inspection on airplane
  • 2,060 Sweetwater 420's
  • Yard Service + Landscaper + Guy who sprays fertilizer and weed killer on it
Sorry about the thread creep. But, this is posted as a public service. Comcast has to provide broadband for < $50 a month under their settlement with the FCC ... so, if you want to save some coin.

To win FCC approval for the $13.8 billion deal last January, Comcast pledged to “visibly offer and actively market” a standalone broadband service to customers for $50 a month for three years.

Raises a question, what are they going to the 5 crews for their summer off?

I'm guessing they are assigning a high ALV when no one is on the jet so that they can reduce the ALV (complying with the the yearly average requirement) when there are more people on the airplane (saving Delta money)?

Delta Air Lines Inc on Tuesday curbed its growth forecast for a key revenue measure for the first quarter, saying March demand was hurt by lower last-minute travel from government clients in the wake of U.S. budget pressures.

The news sent Delta's shares down 7 percent and also hurt other airline stocks. Some analysts said the sell-off appeared to be overdone because Delta's profit picture was largely unchanged.

Delta said that unit revenue, a measure of pricing power and the extent to which planes are filled, rose at a lower pace in March than in the previous two months. Delta's unit revenue last month rose 2 percent, compared with a rise of 5 percent in February and 5.5 percent in January.
