That's true of many of the big FBO chains that cater primarily to corporate jets - ie Signature, Millionair, et al. The Mom & Pop FBOs are still pretty reasonable (as much as it hurts to call $5/gal avgas cheap). There's just not many of them left. Here in the Twin Cities area there are maybe 1/2 of the FBOs that there were when I was learning to fly in the 90s, and more like 1/3 of the flight schools. It seems that being a predator, and serving primarily those with deep pockets, is about the only way to survive in GA anymore. :(

LOL CNBC had that story yesterday mid-day ;-)

Not only are the aft lavs in the 739 smaller than the standard 3x3, the forward facing wall to the cabin has been scallopped to let the last row seats recline...non-revers rejoice!

...Delta Airlines is one of the first carriers to order new on-board lavatories that will be smaller than the 3x3-foot-dimension toilets currently widely in use.
These reduced-sized bathrooms will be fitted to the airline’s 737-900 aircraft, and will allow Delta to fit four more seats into the planes’ economy-class cabins.
The airline says that passengers will not notice the difference, as the extra room will be harvested from space behind the sink units, which is currently wasted.
The wall of the lavatory will also be ‘sculpted’ to let the seats in front of it recline.
These lesser-proportioned loos will start to appear on the US-based airline’s fleet of 737 aircraft later this year, but only in the economy compartments.

Perhaps 3 for one exchange, one CS300 for 3 76-seaters ;-)
How long are those 717 leases again?

On a high note......looks like the Qdoba in terminal A finally opened up.

You know what's the best part:
This is what our HVCs are saying:

So I'm guessing the last row of economy will have their headrest recline "into" the lavatory wall....
* The gentle sound of running water to lull you to sleep!
* This sounds pleasant... Better bring the Bose...

Might as well use the lavs from the RJ200s
* The RJ200s have lavs?

How many Starbucks and Chick Fil A's had to be sacrificed for that to happen?

I'm just happy it wasn't contingent upon us ratifying a TA.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!

THIS JUST IN!!!!

EXTRE-EXTRE, read ALL about it!!!

A small amount of space you didn't even know existed because you couldn't use it or even see it has been re-allocated somewhere else, potentially in a way that adds useful space enabling seats to recline that couldn't recline before!!!!!!!!!!!!!
