Does anyone know when/where the 717's actually start flying? I was bored, so I was checking travelnet for late Oct and I couldn't find a 717 on any of the city pairs I expected to see it.

Question on the rotation printouts... Does anyone know what "CP" means in front of a flight #? I know a "D" means deadhead, but how bout this one:

JFK AUA JFK+
which I thought maybe meant it released a day later, say 0005 or something, but this trip releases at 1630ish.

It's a compass flight, CP is the airline code
CP 5831 is Msp to Msy I think

One poster a few weeks ago got upset about people calling in sick and still posting here. He mentioned if you could post here, you weren't sick.
So keep that in mind and here is my ruling:
- Man up. You're never too sick to fly an airplane. Period.
- Can you still post here? Yes? You're not sick. Period. In fact, you're never too sick to fly.
- The fact you got hit by a car is your own fault, you shouldn't have been going home anyways.

Don't quote me but what I was told by one of the 717 LCA was that they'd look at the DC9 schedule and swap a 717 on the route randomly. So if a 9 was going to BNA today they could pull it and put on a 717. But I don't understand how that works if the DC9 seats more than the 717, that'd mean bumping passengers. But that was what they explained while sitting on the js the other day.
