You're partially correct. The trigger point is how long is the notification BEFORE report. From what I'm reading it's different order of RUO from Sec 23 N to Sec 23 O

Sec 23 N(greater than 12 hours notice)

1)Recovery Flying
2)In base WS
3)Long Call
4)Short Call
5)Reserve pilot YS touching X days
6)Out of Base WS

Sec 23 O(less than 12 hours notice)

1)Recovery Flying
2)In base WS
3)Long call YS
4)Out of base WS
5)Short Call
6)Out of base Long call YS

Thanks Johnso

No prob. Take a look too. I'm pretty sure I'm correct. But I've been wrong before:o and I'll be wrong again. :D

That sounded about right. It's been a while since I looked at the order of callouts.

Wonder if this is why there was a push this summer to get us hand flying?

I say every delta pilot should go through dc-9 initial training every 5years, problem solved! Even better, it should be done in reverse seniority.

UNBELIEVABLE! Why isn't DALPA wadding this insulting POS up and tossing it back at MGMT? What a slap in the face!

I sent an email to flight ops and got a polite response saying I was correct and they will be correcting it on the next flight ops email.

It is coming up in most fleets CQ next cycle. My fleet has a SPOT for each pilot to hand fly the entire spot. I've seen it, and it actually has the possibility to be quite fun.

Thanks 80. If they have any sense, they'll apologize as well. It's the least they can do for outsourcing our jobs, then having the GALL to wag their finger at us!!! I won't soon forget this outrage. The nerve!!!

I was trying to finish up something on the computer and when I finished you were gone. Sport coat and Tennessee lanyard?
