Just FYI during the first 7 days of Jan the Delta Pilot Network will be phone available 24/7 for all questions related to Part 117. There will be a 117 presentation on the Scheduling Committee page, and there are plans to have an online webinar available. A pilot will have the option to participate once per week.

May I ask how it is you get this information? Are you an ALPA insider?

What are the PCS limits for 30/7? I have two trips that bring me to 29:15; I want to swap for a trip that brings me to 29:42. It will not let me do it. I am guessing 29:30 is limit. If so, will it let me swap it if I go 12 minutes under block while flying first trip?

To say that the union would have some huge leverage would be an understatement
And this would be negotiating gold if we didn't have an enabling pilot group who will, for the most part, regard SD's memo as the new law of the land. That said, kudos to ALPA for taking a hard line on this.

True. Realistically, most of the pilot group will adhere to SD's memo and fall over themselves to check their schedules every two hours.

As good little white-collar wannabes, we must always ask ourselves:

If it's after the first, there is no more 30/7. I've got a trip that takes me to above 32/7.

This month, if you underblock to reach 29:30, then your swap should be approved.

This only addressees schedule checks on the "last non-fly day before an on-call day."

Is there a different requirement while one is actually on call?

No kidding! Being a night owl, I hate hate hate... hate hate... early morning sign ins on day one. I get them all the time on rsv (back at it next month thanks to 40% of my category being on rsv.)

And I got unstacked out of my son's first bday off. I blame AU. Screw you, ftb.

We can still comply with the PWA and 117 if all long call rotations start with a DH only day followed by rest. Therefore, I see our PWA as complying with 117. It just limits how the company can utilize Long Call Reserves on day 1.

I would agree, significant leverage available.

Thanks, it's this year. Trying to get home earlier on New Years Eve. Plenty of trips that do it, but I have 30/7 issues with all of them. Here's to hoping for good weather and strong tailwinds, lol.
