Yes the tests are the same.

um...no. thats deceptive. I'm not saying they are not good pilots or good people but the expectation and criteria for MOST of those flows was no were near the same as in the mainline Delta or NWA interview. Yes some of the first pilots to Compass were high time but quickly it became low time and CFI's being interviewed. If you think for a minute that the thumbs up criteria for them to compass and the current interview at Delta is the same you are kidding yourself. Again, they might just be fine pilots but....different panel expectations. Again most in the panel were low time regional fo's and cfi's verses very experienced mil pilots and regional/national rj captains at the mainline interview with many more years under thier belt to screw up, explain and share.

When the CZ flow was intact, it was very competitive to get on there. Most hired were very high time regional captains. I don't know of any CFI's or regional FO's who got on at CZ when the flow thru was still in place. Yes it has changed now. With the flow being gone and being owned by TSA, they are scrapping the bottom of the barrel with low time regional FO's and CFIs.

Actually no they are not the same as the Delta in 07 it was similar to the former NWA interview

When I interviewed at Compass in fall of 2007 I had to do a 727 Sim ride with a Former LCA on the 727 an ATP test Followed by a panel interview with 2 former 747 retired CA and an HR who was from NWA
We were told this was the identical interview for NWA guys.
Since NWA had not started hiring in fall of 07 we were told Compass was the only way to get to NWA

We've already got nearly 100 CPZ and 30 XJT flows on property. I haven't heard a single story of pilots actually at Delta acting bitter towards flows. There have been a couple of flows that returned to their previous airline, but they were given every opportunity to stay.

We do have some folks already here that have interesting attitudes towards .mil guys, but the flows won't ever have to pull gear for them as they will be of similar seniority:

And of course guys like JungleBus who trashtalk their future coworkers before ever setting foot on the property don't help...

Yeah I'll have to build that again. I guess we didn't think it'd be less than 100 a month perpetually.
