Yes the tests are the same.
Read what the other people have said about that. Compass flows ( not sure about Mesaba) were interviewed BY NWA and Delta HR/Line pilots. It was the same interview - the psych eval. No skipping. After the merger CP got the exact same test and interview format that Delta uses. It sucks that so many spots are taken already. I understand it hurts your MIL buddies ( and myself/many others) but it is what it is. Please keep in mind too it's not their fault, Management came up with the agreements. I have heard alot of stories of guys acting bitter towards flows because " they took their MIL buddies spot". Don't be that guy.
um...no. thats deceptive. I'm not saying they are not good pilots or good people but the expectation and criteria for MOST of those flows was no were near the same as in the mainline Delta or NWA interview. Yes some of the first pilots to Compass were high time but quickly it became low time and CFI's being interviewed. If you think for a minute that the thumbs up criteria for them to compass and the current interview at Delta is the same you are kidding yourself. Again, they might just be fine pilots but....different panel expectations. Again most in the panel were low time regional fo's and cfi's verses very experienced mil pilots and regional/national rj captains at the mainline interview with many more years under thier belt to screw up, explain and share.
equating TMAAT "so there I was giving dual on a long cross country from orlando to daytona....
"So there I was coming out of LGA during the snow storm with the wx dropping all over the east coast when the rear FA calls up with a medical in the back with no doctors on board.....it was late at night with most airports shutting down periodically with plowing and ice. I decided....

When I interviewed at Compass in fall of 2007 I had to do a 727 Sim ride with a Former LCA on the 727 an ATP test Followed by a panel interview with 2 former 747 retired CA and an HR who was from NWA
We were told this was the identical interview for NWA guys.
Since NWA had not started hiring in fall of 07 we were told Compass was the only way to get to NWA

We do have some folks already here that have interesting attitudes towards .mil guys, but the flows won't ever have to pull gear for them as they will be of similar seniority:

And of course guys like JungleBus who trashtalk their future coworkers before ever setting foot on the property don't help...
how do we sign up fro sd, flight ops updates? can't find it
