Add your flight adv and flight pay from your 31 dec check, then multiply that by .082.
Simple enough. Thank you. |

I'm a chicken with a big yellow stripe on my back when it cones to Aspen. I usually deploy the limo to Rifle over Omaha or Farmington VOR, tell the pax it's 50/50 and plan a taxi IF we land at Aspen. Cross Red Table, in cloud or winds out of limits, and turn for Rifle. I landed there one day and Approach couldn't believe I wasn't, at least, giving Aspen a try. They kept talking about Aspen and FO kept saying Rifle.
GF Having never been in there in the 604 I really never looked at the performance numbers out of there in it. I know you fly the 605 and Global. I'm assuming there is no way in hell that your getting out of there on the SID if it is IFR on the 605.... How bout the Global if it light? Nothing climbs like a Lear 60 when it has 2 engines, but with the altitude and one out it still can't comply. Didn't know how the Global did on one engine with it being light fuel (course your light fuel can probably get you back to the East coast on the Global):) |

A Global can leave ASE IFR, using runway analysis special departure procedure, at about 80,000 (15c). The SDP is the LINDZ, but you turn to intercept the LOC course to LINDZ at 10.3D south of RBL. In the sim, it works fine, a couple of terrain warnings, sometimes. For real, probably, a mind concentrating event.
I have taken full pax load and fuel for HPN and generous fuel. A certain published writer and high-time Global guy did PHNL out of ASE, VFR of course. GF |

Leaving Stuttgart today, via airlines UGH!
ASE is at 7800' with 8,000' of runway for take-off, 7,000 for landing. 15 has a 2% upslope, so that made things worse for this crew. 80,000# is about 5.5-6.0 hours with good reserves, alternates plus an hour. Fisher: the 605 will make the east coast out of ASE, but that's about it. GF |

I hope you packed your long johns, it's going to be very cold when you get home. |
