I'm a chicken with a big yellow stripe on my back when it cones to Aspen. I usually deploy the limo to Rifle over Omaha or Farmington VOR, tell the pax it's 50/50 and plan a taxi IF we land at Aspen. Cross Red Table, in cloud or winds out of limits, and turn for Rifle. I landed there one day and Approach couldn't believe I wasn't, at least, giving Aspen a try. They kept talking about Aspen and FO kept saying Rifle.

Anybody know how long you have to wait to fly after donating blood? Is that in the FOM?

GF There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots, but there are no old, bold pilots! ;) We get paid by the minute, so I'm never in a hurry to be the first one at the scene of the accident. Holding and diverting pays a whole lot better than disability. |

Did that one night. We were the first to JAX and got the only open gate. Ended up with 4 other planes parked on the ramp behind us. We had to wait for them to refuel and taxi out before there was room to push us. Made for a long night.
How does DAL plan to handle international inbounds with a bad hub weather event? |

Does the Red Cross still not allow you to donate if you've been to Mexico in the past year?
