I don't think that's how it's done.

Ive flown into there a few times in the -6. The challenge isn't the departure, which is opposite direction away from the mountains, but the arrival. No idea how you F that up other than wrong CG and rotation speeds. Landing is a much bigger deal.

That was landing... you can see them come in, touch down, balloon back up in the air, then right back down sharply.

There was something like a 30 knot tailwind down the valley for the landing.

You can see the fireball blowing across the ground at a real good clip from Camera3, plus some blowing snow on the ramp. Not a good day in Aspen.
