Not that there's anything wrong with that.

How much will mainline give up (and how much are they willing to give) to bring scope in house? There are older guys that don't have long until retirement.

You forgot the part where it's OK to blame the Comair guys.

Touche'.

But it was those particular guys had the right to be ****ed off at everyone involved and especially Comair.

I was thinking more of the MEC than the pilots. I should've been more specific.

Are taxes not covered in the award? I'm not complaining, I appreciate the confirmed seats. But for some reason I had the idea in my head all fees/taxes were covered with these passes. I guess I was wrong, but looking for a confirmation.

I asked this a few month's ago, but want to check one more time: Any good hotel recommendations? e.g. Do any wide body experts know what if the hotels we use have a crew vacation rate? I checked mycrewguide for each of the hotels we use and none have any information on this. I'm currently booked for the Agora St. Germaine based on a suggestion I receive here on the thread.

Foreign taxes are not covered. You have to pay them and its done through a credit card. Wife and I were going to Playa De Carmen at the end of the month, using one of the awards. Were charged something like $142. Had to cnx plans, lost tickets (didnt pay the $100 to keep them), got the refund.

As for the hotels, call or email them and ask.

Chuck Giambusso had more to do with their furlough than anyone at Comair. Why is JC Lawson villified when those more directly responsible never get a mention?

(and clearly, management under Leo Mullin was directly responsible, but ALPA's bigotry enabled management to transfer from one airline to another in the Delta system)

For one, Lawson is villified because it was his letter that said that the union at ComAir supported not hiring DAL furloughees unless they resigned their seniority number.

You seem to be defending him, and you are picking the wrong crowd to do that with.

I don't want the company to have the ability to say that I was inversed assigned because they sent a text or an app says the message was delivered.

Agreed. Like most things, the devil would be in the details.
