Seattle to (anywhere) China.

I'm not so sure I believe the rumor, sorry Scambo, but makes for an interesting Sat., without football.

DAL to announce a 50 aircraft 787 order with delivery to begin late this year.

And a 50 wide body RFP to Airbus and Boeing.

It's a rumor but the source is impeccable.

Any news on bigger and additional Rj's?

ALPA is number 56 on the list, which is pretty amazing, when you think about it.

Lots of cash going to DC, particularly by trade unions. Yet unions in this country are getting slaughtered left and right (public unions notwithstanding). This is a terrible thing for our profession, IMHO.

83% Dem, 16% Rep....rethinking my PAC monthly contribution.

No. I never answered my phone. I refused to fly GS trips or IA trips because I already flew so much on reserve. Not to mention 99% of the time it was offered to me at departure time, & I was over 800 miles away from base. I was flown involuntarily past the ALV on reserve consistently that summer. My RAW score was generally 130-160+.

You were able to add flying when it suited you--and turn it down when it did not. Great!

Flying above ALV on reserve is no longer voluntary.
